Default How do i set up my ATA to be used with a dial-up adapter?

[top]Windows

ATA's can be used with a dialup adapter, though you will have to enable Internet Connection Sharing (in Win98SE and later) and an Ethernet card in your PC. If you do not plug your computer into a hub/switch, you will need an MDI-X (Crossover) cable between your ATA and your computer. You have to account for the fact that address translation is taking place, so you may have to adjust your ATA configuration to account for this as well.
