Brix Updates Its TestYourVoIP Service PDF Print E-mail

Brix Network, Chelmsford, Mass., unveiled the newest version of its free, voice quality testing portal, TestYourVoIP.com version 3.0, giving users the ability to view network path details of test calls and to save, review and compare personal test results over time.

As in previous versions, portal users can independently measure the quality of their broadband VoIP connections via a self-initiated test call.

The Brix system measures signaling quality, media path network performance and overall voice clarity via the company’s proprietary technology.

Registered users can call selected TestYourVoIP.com test points from either their mobile, Wi-Fi, traditional, or VoIP phones to measure VoIP quality. Additionally, visitors to TestYourVoIP.com can now compare the performance of various broadband providers to determine which ones are currently offering the best VoIP quality to their customers.

Testing locations are located in Sydney, Australia, Boston, Helsinki, London, Montreal, and San Jose.
