Voxilla was born in September 2003 with a simple mission: Provide the consumer — both at home and at the workplace — vital information presented concisely and clearly about Voice over IP and the telecommunications revolution. Two months later, we launched the Voxilla Store, again with a simple goal: To provide the growing number of visitors to Voxilla the hardware they need to best take advantage of the benefits of Voice over IP. We were, and continue to be, selective about the products we offer . . . they are the top in their class. We were, and continue to be, committed to offering VoIP products at the most affordable prices available. We've grown a lot since we launched our little project. Voxilla has received tens of millions of visits since we launched. And we have put thousands of units of the best VoIP devices into the hands of consumers throughout the world — both directly and through the dozens of excellent VoIP service providers we have partnered with. We have worked closely with service providers, both large and small, in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and throughout the Americas. We helped bring affordable telecommunications to remote areas such as the Yukon Territory in Canada, the barren Patagonia foothills of Argentina and previously poorly served communities in Nigeria, Honduras, Vietnam and the United States. We have assisted independent VoIP visionaries in many nations, by providing them top-notch consumer hardware at the lowest prices available, technical support, partnership-building, and, through Voxilla At Your Service, direct provisioning and fulfillment, allowing them to focus on the difficult task of competing with entrenched communications monopolies and their political servants. Of course, we are proud of all this. But what makes us proudest is that as we've grown, our reputation for excellent customer service has also grown. We are honored and flattered with the dozens of mentions about us on other internet sites and online forums by our friends who recommend us to others. We like those comments and we know that to keep them coming we have to continue to work hard for those who count on us for tools and useful information. We love working with trailblazers in the brave new world of internet telephony — whether it's a company trying to offer affordable telephone services to thousands of customers, the guy working in a small business who has been unluckily assigned the task of reducing the high cost of phone calls, the tech-head trying to build a small telephone network among friends using the Asterisk PBX, or the young mother in San Antonio, TX, who just wants a way to stay in touch with her own mother in Indonesia without breaking the bank. VoIP is shrinking the world, and obliterating the artificial geographic and geopolitical lines that have made communications with those far away difficult and expensive. It's keeping families in touch, helping small businesses compete, and opening up new channels of communications that help bring diverse peoples and cultures together. We are proud and very happy to play a role in supporting this powerful and world-changing technology. And we thank you supporting us.
