The battle between Apple's iOS and Google's Android for dominance of the smartphone platform appears to be slipping ever so slightly in Android's favor. According to a study released by digital research firm comScore, Inc., Google Android now commands a majority, or 51 percent, of the smartphone market, up 3.7 percent from December. Verizon’s Anti-VoIP Measure Kills Naked DSL

Verizon Communications is feeling the bottom-line impact as more homes abandon landlines in favor of cellular and VoIP service.
