Vodaphone UK is launching a 50% reduction in the cost of its daily mobile data plan by giving customers 24 hours of mobile browsing for free.
The provider’s previous full-retail data plan was £1 per day for up to 15MB of data. The new plan goes into effect May 1 at 50p per day for up to 25MB.
Friday is ‘Freeday’, when pay-as-you-go and contract customers who don’t already subscribe to a monthly mobile internet bundle will be able to surf the web for no charge.
Can anyone imagine a US provider pulling such a stunt?
