What is needed is an ASP model to add voice recognition applications to any ATA or IP PBX via SIP redirect. There is an existing ASP model out there with the Phonegnome and Tell Me Dial Tone 2.0 application but unfortunately this model is limited to using a Sipura 3000 and is also limited in features. I did run into a site for an online flea market back in the mid 90's, and I did think it was a really dumb idea that would flop faster than internet dog food sales.That site was not named fleamarkets.com, however. It was ebay.com.Obviously my intuition was wrong, and that failed prediction is a key example of why Voxeo doesn't second-guess what applications or services will succed.
